On May 11th at The Red Mile Race Track Bourbon n' Toulouse and Bayou Bluegrass Catering are teaming up to bring Lexington its very first Crawfish Festival. 1,500 pounds of crawfish will be boiled up by Chef Matt Falcone, a native of Southern Louisiana. Along with the crawfish boil, Bourbon n' Toulouse will be serving Jambalaya, Chicken Etouffee, Chicken Sauce Piquant and Black Beans & Corn. Bayou Bluegrass Catering will also be frying Catfish and Alligator Tails all evening.
Along with amazing food options there will be live music from “The Tallboys,” “Rebel Without a Cause” and more. To liven up the party attendees will find plenty to drink at the bar including a nice selection of Louisiana specialty beers, Hurricanes and all of your Kentucky favorites. The party gets started at 5:00pm and will run until midnight.
