A music-to-light show launches in downtown Lexington at the City Center Office Tower in honor of the Healthcare workers.

100.1 WKQQ and the City Center landmark is looking to lift the spirits of Kentuckians and keep the light in the city of Lexington bright during this challenging time. A new song and format specific iHeartRadio station will be featured each week.

100.1 WKQQ on Friday launched a music-to-light show on the City Center Office tower, in partnership with the Webb Companies. A new show, designed by lighting designer Ross Boggess, will premiere every week.

The first show kicked off last night with 100.1 WKQQ syncing the song “I Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty to the light show. You can stream the fully synced music-to-light show from your quarantine spot, the light show is streaming now on WKQQ’s website and social pages.
